Delivery Related

My order has not arrived. How can I find out where it is?

Once the courier has collected your order from RGPS, we will email your invoice to you that contains the website address of the courier and the tracking number of your package. See below.

Tracking Number

Customers can track the location of their order by going to the couriers website and entering their tracking number in the Track Consignment section. Customers are best advised to take matters up with the courier directly should the length of time exceed what they consider reasonable.

Can I place on order if I live outside of India?

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are currently unable to accept orders from outside India.  

Can you arrange for the delivery of an item which is available at JKP centre bookshop, but not available online?

We can only arrange for deliveries of items ordered through the website.

What are your shipping charges?

JKP Literature uses an independent courier who sets the shipping charges based on where you live and the weight of your order. This is calculated automatically for you to see prior to proceeding to the checkout. Please read the Shipping Policy

What happens if I am out when the courier comes?

Couriers are not permitted to leave any item if you are not there to sign for it. The courier will attempt to contact you on the mobile phone number you entered as part of your original order to make alternative arrangements for the delivery.  If your package cannot be delivered, it will be returned to JKP Literature and we will endeavour to contact you. Should you want your package sent again, the courier will require payment of the shipping fee again. Customers are therefore advised to consider carefully what they enter as their Shipping Address on their Order Inormation Form, so that they will be there to receive their goods.

Payment Related

What do I need to make a payment online?

A valid VISA or MASTERCARD credit or debit card. Your issuing bank must have enabled your debit card for online transactions. If you are not sure, please check with your bank. The system will only accept valid and approved cards.

Do you accept payments made through other means, such as cash on delivery (COD), cheque, electronic fund transfers (EFT) or ATM deposits, etc.?

The system will only accept payments made by a valid and approved VISA or MASTERCARD credit or debit card.

After completing my order, when will the payment be deducted from my credit or debit card account?

If your order has been completed successfully, the system has validated your card details and the transaction has been processed. The total amount, including shipping charges, will be blocked against your credit/debit card limit automatically. This will only happen if your credit or debit card details have been accepted.

I have tried placing an order, but it is not working.

If your credit or debit card has expired or your card details were entered incorrectly or your bank has not enabled your debit card for online transactions, then your order will not go through. Make sure you check all the above, and enter your details carefully.

Is there a limit to the quantity I can order?

No. However, if a quantity seems unusually large, we may deem it necessary to verify the order for security reasons.

Is there any difference between the books and magazines sold through the website and those sold in any JKP centre bookshop in India?

All published works available on this site are available from any JKP centre bookshop within India for the same price, excluding courier charges.

What happens if a book or magazine I have ordered is out of stock?

If the item is out of stock, you will see out of stock appearing on the selected book page just alongside the price. This will prevent you from adding it to your shopping cart. In the unlikely event the book or magazine goes out of stock after you have add it to your shopping cart, and  before you have checked out, a message will inform you at the time of checking out. You will be required to remove the out of stock item from your shopping cart before proceeding.

If your book or magazine goes out of stock after you have placed your order and after you received your order confirmation email, then we will do our utmost to source a copy of the out of stock item for you. If this is not possible, we will inform you through email and invite you to make another selection of the same cost. If all alternatives are not to your satisfaction, then JKP Literature will cancel your order and refund you.

Why can't I find an item which I saw in a JKP centre bookshop on your website?

The item may be currently out of stock or no longer part of our online book and magazine range.

I no longer wish to receive emails from JKP Literature, how can I stop them?

You can click on the unsubscribe option in the latest email you received from us to unsubscribe from them.

Should I be concerned about security entering my credit/debit card details online?

When you enter your card details, you are redirected to a secure payment site. Your card issuing bank then authorises or rejects the transaction that determines whether JKP Literature can process your order or not. At no point does JKP Literature receive, view or store your card details. Please read Secured Shopping for more information.
